Happening On
North Scottsdale's Premier Shopping, Dining and Social District.
After much anticipation, Michael Hansen, owner of The French Bee at 2324 E Indian School Road, opened his new location on Market Street at DC Ranch in March. His highly sought-after florals and furnishings available at the Phoenix store will now be accessible to his north Scottsdale clients.
The French Bee originally only did high end, one of a kind, floral designs out of Hansen’s home. Over the years, Hansen and The French Bee developed a sterling reputation for their stunning designs and extraordinary customer service.
Hansen’s exquisite taste is displayed throughout his store. He has selected fine furnishings, European-flavored antiques, reproductions, elegant gift items, one of kind artwork, unique accessories and an array of chandeliers.
North Scottsdale residents can look forward to each visit they make to their neighborhood The French Bee for the latest in floral design and home furnishings.
The French Bee can be contacted at 480.473.4522 or visit thefrenchbee.com.
Banzai Cowboy Sushi and Martini Bar will open its doors on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at Market Street at DC Ranch. Come one, come all to experience the fusion of East meets West in this intimate and lively indoor/outdoor space.
Scott and Gregory Ziegler, the founders of NYPD Pizza, are at the helm of Banzai Cowboy. “We saw a great opportunity to create a more adult sushi concept in an amazing location.” Scott says. The menu will be Southwest-inspired, with unique items created by Chef Fumiharu Hirose, who brings with him more than 30 years of experience from around the world. Signature martinis will be the first order of business. Every place setting will have a martini glass on it, subtly suggesting that everyone start their experience with one of a dozen signature martinis, which will be shaken and poured at the table.
The overall feel will be fun, relaxed and casual, with Banzai Cowboys sitting above, meditating over the food; Asian and Cowboy cultures intermixing.
Country, rock and pop music will all be a part of the music selection, so there’s something for everyone.
